to June 8, 1991, Crash!
Still haven’t become rid of my cold. I feel an
intuition that I just may be losing altitude; at least my breathing is not clear.
Tuesday I thought the crash was helping Adele through her appointments. So sad,
in need and the mind not working well. I feel so emotionally strained after
leaving her, but the service feels good. I could help. I took her to the
medical and mental appointments.
After coming home I was totally spent. Then I took
some things to Packers. On the way home I felt much worse. By Monday I was
headed to the hospital. Pneumonia! Very bad! Very sick! A long haul to get
better. My right lung just wouldn't clear as it should. I am determined to
climb and incentivized by the coming reunion; I will move along even if slowly.
Never have I felt so helpless. Do not lift, do not
work, do nothing. A long slow time. Now on to a better summer. Like the mason,
just one brick on brick, one at a time.
